-Trig functions continues
-Piecewise may be continues
-Rational functions may not be continues
-Continues if:
f(c) – exist
lim(x) – exist
f(c)= lim f(x)

Just a note on vocabulary: Instead of saying all polynomial functions “continue”, it is more mathematically precise to say all polynomial functions are continuous.

Clarification on the last limit that is equal to 0: Right below the problem it says undefined has no limit and I wanted to make sure that comment was not related to the limit problem above whose limit is indeed 0 and not undefined. If the limit turns out to be any number divided by 0 then the limit is undefined and would have no limit. Anything that turns out to be 0/0 is indeterminate which means it could still have a limit. To determine if it does you need to take the limit of an equivalent form.
