Class Notes 3/26

Today in Class we went over the second free response AP question.

Some tips for the free response:

*Be sure to write something down, there are no points taken off for wrong answers and for example on the problem we did you got two points for just setting up the integral.

*On the calculator sections be sure to use your calculator to save time when you integrate.

* Be sure to draw your representative strip when doing revolution of solids, it will help you determine whether to use shells or disks.
Chapter 1 Review:

When determining limits epsilon is the “error” on the y axis, or how much you are willing to tolerate, where the delta is the absolute value of x-c, or the x value that allows the y tolerance.

Homework:

Chapter 2 Review and quiz on Friday over slope fields, and a review of chapter 1 and 2.  Be sure to know your unit circle, and trig identities like the Pythagorean identity.
