In class, we started class by going over homework. Mrs. Evrard then handed out a packet of problems, and the mystery curve!!!
Extreme Value Theorem: If a function ƒ is continuous on [a,b], then ƒ has both a minimum and a maximum on the interval.
Rolle’s Theorem: If a function ƒ is continuous on [a,b] and differentiable on (a,b) and if ƒ(a)=ƒ(b)=0, then there is at least one number c between a and b at which ƒ’(c)=0.
