today we went over the homework, worked a little on the Multi Choice in-class thing, reviewed a little, and then the pain began with Inverse Functions.
An inverse function is when you switch x and y in an equation. So instead of having y=sin , you have x=sin y [or y=sin^(-1)x]
However, because it is no longer [...]
Mrs. Evrard also reminded us that:
-Complementary angles add up to 90o
-Supplementary angles add up to 180 o
In class we also proved that you could use the quotient rule or the power to derive the derivatives of trig. functions
Ex: Quotient Rule
Ex: Power Rule

There will be no quiz on Thursday
homework: pg 138 and 139 all Q’s and #’s 1-25 odd

We went over the past two quizzes and the homework in small groups and also reviews the parametric mode.
Notes from the homework:
On a Position vs. Time Graph – When the line is concave up, the acceleration will be positive. When the line is concave down, the acceleration will be negative.
Inflection Point – change from [...]
Today, Mrs. Evrard was not here, so we had a sub.
First we went over the homework, then we did Exploration 3.9 on Antiderivatives.
