Class Notes 9/20/07

epsilom-a number, the error margin for f(x).

If you can find a delta for any value of epsilom close to c and in the error margin, then there is a limit.

What I have learned about this topic is what the difference is between an epsilom and a delta. I learned that the epsilom is related to ∆y and the delta is related to ∆x. When using  the epsilom and delta with a graph, add and subtract the epilsom value from L to get the error margin for y, and vice versa for the delta value but instead add and subtract from the c value. The epsilom and delta pretty much help to shorten the definition of a limit.

You need to post the HW. Since this was quiz day you should also note that in your notes.
