Went over homework problems: p. 372 1,7,11,15,23
If the critical point you evaluate in the second derivative is 0 then it is now a point of inflection.
If the critical point you evaluate in the second derivative is positive then it is concave up and the point is a minimum.
If the critical point you evaluate in the second derivative is negative then it is concave down and the point is a maximum.

In order to be a maximum or a minimum the first derivative has to equal 0.

On AP exam you have to state your justification not just show it. Example: It is a maximum or a minimum on the second derivative test

Worked on problems below for the rest of class.
